Sunday 6th September is Final's Day

FINALS DAY

Just a quick reminder, if one is needed!!

IT’S UPON US!!

The Club Competition Finals Day is
THIS SUNDAY.

Start Time: a major change. This year’s Finals Day starts at 12 noon.

Catering: there will be no BBQ this year for lunch, it’s a hog-roast and with the earlier start time then it’s ideal so make sure you get down for lunch and a glass or two with it.

The Weather: the forecast for Sunday looks OK; don’t think it will be a heat-wave; there may well be a fair bit of cloud cover but warm and dry so pretty good tennis weather!

And Finally; The Presentation Ceremony:
we are hoping for a bit of an earlier finish than the last couple of years! We are anticipating a finale at about 5pm this year,
The presentation will be made by the Club’s very own superstar Phil Hammond who can be described as a GP and media tart (Private Eye columnist, Have I Got News For You, Countdown) and former Girton College Mixed Singles Champion. I’m sure that he'll say a few humorous (and clean, I hope) words about something - probably cheating in sport or something – before making the prize presentations
