Bishop Sutton Tennis Club
is a welcoming environment for those looking to indulge their passion for tennis. There are 5 superb tennis courts featuring a combination of playing surfaces; 3 all weather and 2 synthetic grass, four of which are also floodlit. Members can book courts up to four weeks in advance, for two hours at any one time, and arrange block bookings. There are no court fees or charges for floodlights.
Our attentive, highly trained team of teaching staff,
led by Tennis Manager Ron Grew and Development Coach Duncan Grew, are on hand and ready to teach. Coaching is available all-year round, with a range of tennis programmes for all age groups and from beginners to competitive players. Full racquet stringing services are provided. A ball machine is also available.
This is a friendly Club,
but it also has a competitive element. The Club organises a variety of tournaments, competitions and championships. There is a colour-coded rating system based on ability and a ‘ladder’ which allows members to compete against better players. A programme of Social and Team Play helps members meet other players.
